Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates to join a safety‑minded, outgoing team in Groveport, OH. The role offers a competitive wage and benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and boot allowance after 90 days.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with occasional Saturdays and OT. Responsibilities include picking/packing, loading/unloading, inventory checks, and operating forklift equipment while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow directions.
• Flexible to work overtime and adapt to non-climate-controlled conditions.

Responsibilities

• Pick/pack parts accurately and prevent damage.
• Position inbound freight and maintain proper storage.
• Report discrepancies and damaged product.
• Locate misclassified inventory and escalate issues promptly.
• Operate reach truck, pallet jack, and cherry picker as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Picking/packing parts in a manner to ensure accuracy and prevent damage at times process may deviate
• Physically and systematically placing inbound freight at times process may deviate
• Report product discrepancies/variances of over/under amounts and damaged product
• Conduct searches in order to locate misclassified inventory
• Escalates issues timely and directly to supervisor
• Have the ability to operate the following pieces of equipment:
• Reach Truck Operator
• Pallet Jack (electrical or manual)
• Cherry Picker /Stock Chaser
• Accurately match numbers & letters
• Follow all safety requirements
• Stage and sort products for loading
• Opens and closes dock doors
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets
• Move materials within the warehouse
• Scanning & counting parts
• Completes all other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Preference will be given to applicants with prior forklift experience
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
