Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring warehouse associates in Lebanon, Tennessee. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a proactive attitude in a warehouse setting.

Pay is $19.61 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, plus overtime and Saturdays as needed. Benefits include PTO, health insurance, and a 401(k) plan. Apply to join a strong logistics team.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, cherry picker, reach truck, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
• Comply with all safety requirements.
• Operate printing machines and assemble components.
• Pack or kit finished product for shipping and label accordingly.
• Scan products electronically using a warehouse management system.
• Identify and remove damaged products upon receipt.
• Read work orders and determine material and equipment needs.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift, cherry picker, reach truck, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Complies with all safety requirements
• Operate printing machines and assemble components
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
• Accurately match numbers & letters
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
