Job summary

Performance Food Group seeks a Sanitation, Warehouse associate to maintain a clean and safe work environment in our Monroe, Ohio facility. You will perform general janitorial tasks across dry, cooler, and freezer areas as part of our sanitation team.

The role emphasizes adherence to health and safety policies, timely completion of training, and the ability to work with cleaning chemicals. This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1) 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience.
• 2) Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned safety training modules.
• May operate pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Purpose:

The Sanitation, Warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.
