Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Sanitation, Warehouse Associate to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment. Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 7am–3:30pm, with duties including janitorial tasks in dry, cooler, and freezer areas.

Responsibilities include following health and safety policies, reporting hazards, operating a pallet jack as needed, and completing required safety training modules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Purpose:
