Performance Food Group is seeking a Sanitation/Warehouse associate to maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment. Key duties include cleaning, recycling, and supporting health and safety policies in a fast-paced facility.

Responsibilities involve hazmat chemical handling, pallet jack use, and timely completion of tasks. Sunday–Thursday shift starts at 7:00 AM; experience in warehouse sanitation is preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months sanitation, cleaning or janitorial experience.
• Shift: Sunday through Thursday; 7:00 AM start time.
• Preferred: 1+ years sanitation, cooler cleaning, or janitorial work in warehouse.

Responsabilidades

• Perform general janitorial, cleaning and sanitation tasks in the warehouse (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Follow health and safety policies; report unsafe conditions or acts.
• Handle cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash collection.
• Use cleaning chemicals per hazmat material sheets and safety guidelines.
• Break down and repack cases to reduce spoilage; assist in recycling duties.

Position Purpose:

We value the safety and health of our associates! The Sanitation, Warehouse ensures the health and safety of all our associates by always maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

The Sanitation, Warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Break / repack full cases to small cases.in the most timely and efficient manner as to reduce spoilage and lost inventory.
• Will be responsible for recycling plastic and cardboard as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience
• Sunday through Thursday
• 7:00AM Start Time

Preferred qualifications:

• 1+ years general sanitation, cooler cleaning and/or janitorial work experience in warehouse environment
• Pallet jack experience
