Job summary

Metals USA is seeking a Warehouse Worker for our Horicon, WI location. The company is a leading metals processor/distributor serving defense, construction, and fabrication industries.

Responsibilities include locating finished products, tagging, operating packaging equipment, and moving product with overhead crane and forklift. PTO, insurance, and 401(k) plans are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read measuring tapes and calipers.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with heavy equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Locate products completed in a first step process.
• Scales and tags product.
• Uses plant packaging equipment including conveyors, stackers, down enders and banders to move product.
• Transports items to the warehouse for future shipment.
• Requires operation of an overhead crane and forklift to move product.
• Can identify defects and package the designated items.
• May perform other duties as related or assigned.
