Job summary

Metals USA is seeking a Warehouse Worker for our Horicon, WI location. The role involves locating products, tagging, packaging, and moving items using conveyors and equipment. Candidates must be able to operate a forklift and overhead crane and lift up to 50 lbs.

The position supports a growing metals processing and distribution operation serving defense, construction, and related industries. PTO, health benefits, and opportunities for advancement are included.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read measuring tapes and calipers.
• Must stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience required.
• Experience with heavy equipment preferred.
• Warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Locates products completed in a first step process.
• Scales and tags product.
• Uses plant specific packaging equipment including conveyors, stackers, down enders and banders to move product.
• Transports items to the warehouse for future shipment.
• Operates overhead crane and forklift to move product.
• Identifies defects and packages designated items.
• May perform other duties as related or assigned.
