Job summary

Aerotek, Salisbury, NC, is seeking a Warehouse Worker for a Contract to Hire position. Shift is 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday, onsite in a climate-controlled facility. You will handle loading/unloading, receiving, and material handling, with emphasis on safety and SAP usage.

Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, forklift operation, RF scanning capability, and basic MS Office skills. Pay is $17.00/hr with benefits and potential for growth; eligibility varies by position and program

Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description

As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a critical role in the packaging and preparation of materials for shipment. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, stocking material in the warehouse, receiving items, and ensuring the delivery of items to the production area. This role operates on the 1st shift, from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

You will work in a clean, climate-controlled, and organized environment. The position requires regular standing, walking, sitting, and the use of hands to handle objects and tools. You must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds. The workplace can expose you to shop floor conditions, including noise, heat, cold, dust, and dirt. Proper personal protective equipment is required, such as safety glasses, face shields, gloves, earplugs, or earmuffs, and steel-toed safety-compliant footwear.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
