Aerotek is recruiting for a Material Handler III (Warehouse Lead) in Indianapolis, IN. You will serve as a senior operator, coordinating shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks on 2nd or 3rd shift while ensuring GMP-compliant processes and accurate stock levels.
The role requires leadership, problem-solving, and hands-on use of SAP and RF scanning systems. Prior forklift experience and flexibility across shifts are a plus for this fully onsite contract position.
This role serves as an advanced-level Material Handler and Warehouse Lead, responsible for coordinating and performing a wide range of material handling, shipping, receiving, and inventory activities on 2nd or 3rd shift. You will support day-to-day warehouse operations, help resolve routine issues, and ensure an efficient and accurate flow of materials in a fast-paced, GMP-regulated environment. Flexibility to work across different shifts for training and operational needs is important.
You will join a collaborative, quality-focused operation where your contributions directly support reliable, accurate, and efficient warehouse performance. This position is based in a warehouse environment that includes both standard and refrigerated areas. You will regularly move between different zones while performing picking, packing, box making, and related material handling tasks. The role requires comfort working in cold temperatures and being on your feet for the majority of the shift, with constant movement throughout the department. Work is performed on 2nd shift (1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday through Friday) or 3rd shift (9:15 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Monday through Friday), with flexibility needed to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift for training. The environment is fast-paced and process-driven, with regular use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, RF scanners, and computers running inventory systems and standard office software.
This is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
The pay range for this position is $27.43 - $27.43/hr.
