Job description

We are seeking a dedicated warehouse worker to join our team. You will be responsible for pulling orders in the basement of the hospital, ensuring that supplies reach doctors, nurses, and techs. The products include gloves, boxes of needles, surgical supplies, masks, gowns, and other PPE as needed. Your role will also involve keeping the warehouse fully stocked and replenished, as well as hand-delivering supplies to various hospital departments.

Responsibilities :

• Pull orders in the basement of the hospital for supplies needed by doctors, nurses, and techs.
• Ensure the warehouse is fully stocked and replenish supplies when necessary.
• Hand deliver supplies to various hospital departments such as the ER, surgical offices, and rooms.
• Place materials on racks, shelves, bins, or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Assist with assembling certain parts if needed.

Qualifications :

• Comfortable working in a team environment with 20+ employees.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs throughout the shift.
• Ability to be on feet for the entire duration of the shift (8+ hours).
• Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
• Comfortable using a computer to input data through EPIC
• You will be working throughout the hospital, primarily in the basement and on the dock where trucks pull up trailers. Interaction with various hospital staff including nurses, doctors, and techs is expected. You may occasionally interact with patients. The dress code includes wearing a scrub top and any other proper PPE provided depending on the hospital area.
• Initial training shifts are from 6am-2 : 30pm, Monday to Friday for the first 2-3 weeks. After training, the shift changes to Tuesday to Saturday with the same start time. Flexibility to work additional hours when needed is required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00 / hr.
