Job summary

EBSCO Investment Services Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Alabama to perform a variety of warehouse activities, including picking, stacking, moving inventory, and receiving materials.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and climbing to elevated areas, plus reliable data entry and basic math for inventory tasks. OSHA guidelines and safety policies must be followed, with a focus on meeting daily and monthly schedules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable using equipment that is 15–20 feet off the ground.
• Proficient in operating warehouse equipment (preferred).
• Some experience with inventory control and working in a warehouse environment.
• Some data entry and computer skills, preferred.
• Good communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills.
• The ability to perform work while standing, sitting and/or walking.
• The ability to communicate effectively.
• The willingness to use PPE.

Responsibilities

• Utilize and follow all appropriate OSHA health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Assure inventory and warehouse is maintained in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
• Operate a variety of equipment and properly inspect equipment before use.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide quickly and accurately.
• Meet daily/weekly/monthly schedules and timelines for fulfilling orders or inventory cycle counts.
• Provide assistance to team members in the completion of daily warehouse activities.
• Must be able to pass a motor vehicle record report, criminal background and pre-employment drug screening
• Other duties as assigned or as necessary in the completion of daily task.

Job Summary

This position will require the lifing of heavy materials in our Alabaster warehouse.
