Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. in Reno, NV is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Verifier to perform daily receiving tasks, inspect shipments, verify items and quantities, and prepare them for put-away.

This full-time role operates Monday–Friday, 10:00 am–7:00 pm, in a fast-moving warehouse environment. You will handle barcodes, scan labels, operate pallet jack or forklift, and collaborate across departments while adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills are required for daily tasks.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet customer needs.
• Good physical stamina for warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

• Verify products and match packing slips to P.O. using item numbers, descriptions and quantity.
• Inspect boxes for damage and packaging issues; resolve discrepancies.
• Create and scan bar code labels into the warehouse system.
• Handle all incoming inter-warehouse transfers.
• Operate pallet jack or forklift; move product as needed.
• Stage products for put-away and re-packaging.
• Train cross-functionally to support business needs.
• Follow safety guidelines and meet productivity and quality expectations.
