Job summary

MSC Industrial Direct Co.,Inc. is seeking a part-time Verifier/Checker for Monday through Friday, 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm, in its Kentucky Northern area.

The role involves confirming shipments, inspecting items for damage, and ensuring quantities match POs through visual checks and system scans. Responsibilities include labeling with bar codes, handling inter-warehouse transfers, operating powered equipment, and staging product for put-away while adhering to safety guidelines and quality

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate basic warehouse equipment and follow safety guidelines.
• Willingness to work part-time during evening hours.
• Ability to read packing slips and PO numbers accurately.

Responsibilities

• Verify products and match packing slips to PO numbers using item/vendor numbers, descriptions and quantity.
• Inspect boxes for damage or improper packaging and resolve discrepancies.
• Create and apply bar code labels and scan into warehouse system.
• Handle all incoming inter-warehouse transfers.
• Operate pallet jack or forklift; load, unload and move product by hand or with equipment.
• Stage product for put-away; prepare boxes for put-away bins.
