Job summary

MSC Industrial Direct Co.,Inc. is seeking a Part-time Verifier/Checker for the Monday–Friday shift, 5:00pm–10:00pm, to join our warehouse operations. The role focuses on daily receiving tasks, inspecting shipments, and verifying items and quantities to ensure accurate order fulfillment.

You will work in a fast-moving environment, practicing safe handling of products and using bar code labels and the warehouse system. OT may be required to meet customer needs; weekends are not required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state driver's license may be required.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Internal certification to operate powered equipment.
• DOT item picking certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Verify products and match packing slips to P.O.s using item numbers and quantities.
• Inspect boxes for damage and resolve discrepancies.
• Create and apply bar code labels and scan into the system.
• Handle incoming inter-warehouse transfers and move products as needed.
• Operate pallet jack or forklift and assist in put-away processes.
• Stage products for put-away bins and re-use of totes/skids.
• Cross-train in other departments to support business needs.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain productivity and quality.
