Orgill is hiring for a dock/yard associate in Post Falls, ID. Start time is 6:00 AM with a schedule that includes no weekend work.

Base pay is $16/hour, with duties focused on pallet handling, safety compliance, pallet delivery to lanes, and lot/dock housekeeping throughout each shift. The role requires power equipment certification (forklift, tugger, double walkie, hand pallet jack) and a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Power equipment certification required including Forklift (electric and gas), tugger, double walkie, utility vehicle, hand pallet jack.
• Must be able to cut half pallets using a sawzall while keeping surplus for loaders.
• Deliver new pallets to each lane at end of day and as needed.
• Clear jams on the conveyor to keep the belt running efficiently.
• Remove scrap pallets from the backside of the dock, sorting for disposal or reuse.
• Empty trash cans throughout the day and into compactor.
• Manage the process for damaged merchandise.
• Sweep out all trailers as available.
• Stock slip sheets and shrink wrap at each lane.
• Distribute pipe racks along the front of the dock.
• Assist cleaning spurs throughout the day and end of day.
• Responsible for spill clean ups on the dock.
• Performs other housekeeping duties as assigned.
