Job summary

Orgill, Inc. in Post Falls, Idaho is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our dock operations. You will operate forklifts and other power equipment, cut pallets, deliver pallets to lanes, and help keep the dock clean and organized.

You must meet safety standards, have excellent attendance, be willing to work overtime, and communicate effectively with team members and other departments. This position offers benefits including health and vision insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must be committed to a high standard of safety and follow all safety policies.
• Excellent attendance record and willingness to work overtime when needed.
• Good comprehension and organizational skills with clear communication.
• Ability to interact with multiple departments and management levels.
• Must read/write/speak English and meet physical assessment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other power equipment safely.
• Cut half pallets with a sawzall while ensuring surplus for loaders.
• Deliver new pallets to each lane at end of day and as needed.
• Clear jams on the conveyor to keep the belt running smoothly.
• Remove scrap pallets from dock backside and sort for disposal or reuse.
• Empty trash and compact into the compactor.
• Manage damaged merchandise process.
• Sweep out trailers and maintain dock cleanliness.
• Stock slip sheets & shrink wrap at each lane.
• Distribute pipe racks along the front of the dock.
• Assist cleaning spurs and spill cleanups on the dock.
• Performs other housekeeping duties as assigned.
