Job summary

Lactalis American Group in Nampa, ID is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Operator to support production by supplying ingredients and packaging materials and moving finished goods to the Distribution Center.

Role requires stand-up forklift experience, basic computer skills, and strong safety awareness. You’ll work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment with emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of stand-up forklift experience preferred.
• Prior warehouse, manufacturing, or food industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Heritage / AS400 or similar inventory systems preferred.
• Basic computer skills and strong math skills.
• Understanding of warehouse safety practices.
• Ability to read and write for documentation and inventory tracking.
• Strong verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing production needs.
• Dependable attendance and strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up forklift to move materials safely and efficiently.
• Supply production departments with materials to meet daily demands.
• Load and unload trailers at the dock.
• Accurately complete inventory documentation and communicate movements.
• Perform basic computer transactions related to inventory and production support.
• Move, stack, or handle product manually as needed.
• Follow all food safety, safety, and quality procedures.
• Work effectively in a high-stress, time-sensitive environment.
