This range is provided by NYC Department of Housing Preservation & Development. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

$43,468.00/yr - $67,134.00/yr

If hired provisionally, you must pass the Civil Service Exam when available to continue employment.

About the Department

The Department of Social Services (DSS) includes the NYC Human Resources Administration and the Department of Homeless Services, which focus on benefits provision and homelessness prevention respectively. GSS provides facilities management, safety, and warehouse operations.

Job Duties

• Supervise and train warehouse staff, perform supervisory work related to warehouse operations.
• Participate in process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Load/unload materials, coordinate pickups/deliveries.
• Verify receipts, report discrepancies, manage inventory counts.
• Oversee warehouse equipment and safety, supervise in the Director’s absence.

Work Details

Location: 260 11th Ave, NY, NY 10001

Hours: 7am to 3pm, 35 hours/week
