The Department of Social Services (DSS) comprises the administrative units of the New York City Human Resources Administration (HRA) and the Department of Homeless Services (DHS). HRA aims to combat poverty and income inequality by providing essential benefits such as Food Assistance and Emergency Rental Assistance. DHS focuses on preventing and addressing homelessness in New York City through innovative strategies to help families and individuals exit shelters and regain self-sufficiency.
HRA/General Support Services (GSS) offers safe, healthy, and suitable facilities for various social service programs. Its functions include facilities planning, design, construction, renovation, repair, maintenance, custodial and building services, health and safety coordination, lease and property management, land use and environmental reviews, contract administration, fleet management, and warehouse operations. GSS also plays a key role in HRA's emergency preparedness.
The General Support Services/Office of Planning & Logistics is seeking to fill one (1) Supervisor of Stock Workers I position, functioning as Warehouse/Transportation Supervisor. Under the direction of the Director of Warehouse Operations, this role involves overseeing warehouse operations and will:

Hours/Schedule: 35 hours (7am to 3pm)
Position Title: Supervisor of Stock Workers - 12202
Two years of full-time satisfactory experience performing storekeeping activities, with at least one year in a supervisory capacity.
