Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) options include Eating Disorder treatment, Trauma, and a DBT adherent program.
About this role:
The IOP Clinical Supervisor is primarily responsible for the direct oversight of clinical care and staff development within the EDRS Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This role involves supervising and guiding therapists and recovery coaches, reviewing treatment plans, and ensuring that patient care adheres to the highest standards of quality and ethical practice. The Clinical Supervisor also plays a key role in the maintenance of staff training, in direct collaboration with the clinical training department, focusing on the latest treatment modalities for eating disorders. The Clinical Supervisor will participate in direct patient care, particularly in complex cases, and will be the primary point person for crisis management, interdisciplinary collaboration, and comprehensive patient treatment. Only LCSWs will be considered for this role.
What You'll Do:
Clinical Supervision: Providing clinical supervision for associate-level therapists; overseeing quality of clinical care within IOP; leading rounds and consult groups for IOP staff.
Training and Development: Facilitating ongoing education and mentoring clinical staff in current eating disorder treatment practices.
Treatment Plan Oversight: Reviewing, approving, and monitoring the effectiveness of patient treatment plans.
Quality Assurance: Conducting chart audits and ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards. Regular observation of groups and meal supports to ensure clinical consistency.
Direct Patient Care: Provide up to 10 scheduled direct patient care hours within IOP, divided between group facilitation, meal support, and individual caseload. Distribution will be based on business and clinical need.
Provider Coverage: Provide as needed group and/or individual coverage for clinicians within IOP.
Crisis Management: Handling emergency situations related to patient care.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Coordinating care with other internal departments and outpatient healthcare professionals for comprehensive treatment.
Staff Management: Collaborate with Program Manager to provide effective support and oversight to IOP staff managed by the Program Manager.
We're looking for someone who:
Masters Degree required
Must be fully licensed as an LCSW in New York and willing to obtain licensure in any other states needed
> 3 years general clinical experience with at least 1 year ED specific experience
Schedule/availability requirements:
40 hour work week, with the ability to shift daily schedule as indicated by clinical needs.
