Job summary

URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Trainer to develop hourly staff and improve performance through hands-on training and ongoing coaching. The role partners with operations leadership to identify where training boosts quality and efficiency across shifts.

The position requires strong communication, the ability to train across diverse teams, and comfort with OSHA-style safety and SOP adherence. Work hours include a Wednesday–Saturday shift, starting early in Gap, PA.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school degree or GED a plus.
• Possess time management and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker).
• Able to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a team environment.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to keep confidential information private.
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• Maintain acceptable attendance and must be able to work overtime as required.
• Comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide training for individual or group settings to new hires as well as tenured employees.
• Possess excellent communication skills and ability to explain tasks to others.
• Assist with new hire orientation, onboarding processes, and safety compliance.
• Monitor and report on training, productivity, and accuracy of new hires.
• Ensure new hire, re-training, and cross-training are completed per SOPs and work instructions.
• Deliver PIT certifications and evaluations.
• Uphold a respectful workplace environment while encouraging team collaboration.
• Support all other duties as assigned by operational leadership or as business requires.
• Able to operate department-specific technology to execute and train on job tasks i.e. RF scanners or desktop computers and touchscreens.
