Job summary

URBN is seeking a dedicated Trainer located at 766 Brackbill Rd, Gap, PA 17527 United States to develop and mentor warehouse employees. The role emphasizes hands-on training, safety compliance, and effective communication across shifts.

The incumbent will conduct training sessions, evaluate performance, and support onboarding and ongoing development. This on-site position requires teamwork, reliability, and a focus on quality standards within a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED a plus.
• Possess time management and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker).
• Able to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a team environment.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• Maintain acceptable attendance and must be able to work overtime as required.
• Comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide training for individual or group settings to new hires as well as tenured employees.
• Possess excellent communication skills and ability to explain tasks to others.
• Assist with new hire orientation, onboarding processes, and safety compliance.
• Monitor and report on training, productivity, and accuracy of new hires.
• Ensure new hire, re-training, and cross-training are completed per SOPs and work instructions.
• Deliver PIT certifications and evaluations.
• Uphold a respectful workplace environment while encouraging team collaboration.
• Support all other duties as assigned by operational leadership or as business requires.
• Able to operate department-specific technology to execute and train on job tasks i.e. RF scanners or desktop computers and touchscreens.
