Job summary

SanMar is seeking a DC Trainer to facilitate classroom training and on-the-job training for Distribution Center employees. The role includes teaching all aspects of distribution positions for new hires and retraining existing staff to improve processes and productivity.

The trainer aligns goals with company plans, develops training materials, schedules sessions, and ensures accurate trainee records. This position requires independent work, strong communication, and readiness to support in a

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training programs to new and existing employees.
• Assist in developing training materials and maintain documents.
• Coordinate training schedule with DC training demands.
• Communicate with leadership to execute training efforts.
• Conduct OJT and safety training sessions.
• Maintain trainee records and ensure policies are followed.
• Support warehouse areas as needed and operate lift equipment if required.
