SanMar-Internal is seeking a DC Trainer to facilitate classroom training and on-the-job training for Distribution Center employees. You will align training with warehouse goals and help new hires and current staff improve processes.

The role requires a High School Diploma and 4-6 years of warehouse experience, with the ability to read and interpret materials, follow directions, and adapt to changing priorities. Strong communication and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of warehouse experience.
• Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities as needed.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training programs to new and existing employees.
• Assist with the development of training materials and maintain training documents.
• Coordinate training schedule with DC hiring and training demands.
• Communicate daily with leadership and coworkers to execute training efforts accurately.
• Conduct training sessions covering on-the-job and refresher training.
• Assist employees with how-to tasks related to distribution positions and safety training.
• Maintain trainee records and ensure policy compliance.
• Support warehouse operations as needed and operate powered lift equipment if required.
