Job summary

SanMar is seeking a DC Trainer to facilitate classroom and on-the-job training for Distribution Center staff. You will onboard new hires, retrain existing employees, and work with teams to enhance productivity and knowledge in line with company goals.

Responsibilities include delivering programs, developing and maintaining training materials, coordinating schedules, and ensuring accurate trainee records. Occasional lift equipment operation and adherence to safety policies are expected.

Qualifications

• Must read and write competently and identify colors, sizes, quantities, labels and SKUs.
• Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training programs to new and existing employees.
• Assist with training material development and maintain records.
• Coordinate training schedules with DC hiring and training needs.
• Communicate daily with leadership to execute training efforts accurately.
• Conduct training sessions on OJT and refresher topics.
• Assist employees with how-to tasks in their distribution roles.
• Support safety training and ensure trainee records are up to date.
• Help reinforce company procedures and policies.
• Support various warehouse areas as needed and operate lift equipment if required.
• Check out and return equipment properly and perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
