Job summary

Crane is seeking a Training Specialist to design, deliver, and maintain onboarding and ongoing training for warehouse staff and temporary associates. You will ensure safety, compliance, and adherence to procedures, while maintaining certifications and records.

You will conduct hands-on instruction for equipment operation, systems, and processes, evaluate competency, and partner with Operations, Safety, Quality, and HR to drive continuous improvement. On-site presence required.

Qualifications

• Two years or more in training, learning & development or related experience.
• Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, safety, quality, onboarding, or workforce development preferred.
• Experience delivering classroom and hands-on training, conducting evaluations, and managing certification or compliance programs preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Conduct onboarding, training refresher, compliance, and job-specific training for employees and temporary associates.
• Deliver training in accordance with company policies, safety standards, operational procedures, and customer requirements.
• Maintain training records, certifications, evaluations, and completion tracking.
• Provide hands-on instruction for equipment operation, systems, processes, and safety practices.
• Evaluate employee competency, provide coaching, and identify training or performance gaps.
• Develop and maintain training materials, schedules, matrices, and supporting documentation.
• Partner with Operations, Safety, Quality, and HR to support employee development and regulatory compliance.
• Support audits, recertifications, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify training needs and implement solutions to improve performance and operational effectiveness.
