Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is seeking a Training Specialist to lead onboarding, refresher and compliance training for employees and temporary staff. The role focuses on delivering instruction aligned with company policies, safety standards, and customer requirements while maintaining detailed training records and certifications.
You will partner with Operations, Safety, Quality, and HR to identify gaps, develop materials, and drive continuous improvement.
Conduct onboarding, training refresher, compliance, and job-specific training for employees and temporary associates.
Deliver training in accordance with company policies, safety standards, operational procedures, and customer requirements.
Maintain training records, certifications, evaluations, and completion tracking.
Provide hands‑on instruction for equipment operation, systems, processes, and safety practices.
Evaluate employee competency, provide coaching, and identify training or performance gaps.
Develop and maintain training materials, schedules, matrices, and supporting documentation.
Partner with Operations, Safety, Quality, and HR to support employee development and regulatory compliance.
Support audits, recertifications, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify training needs and implement solutions to improve performance and operational effectiveness.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, safety, quality, and distribution processes.
Ability to effectively train, coach, and engage employees at all levels of the organization.
Excellent organizational skills with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and documentation management.
Skilled in communicating procedures, work instructions, safety requirements, and system processes.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Safety, Quality, HR, IT, and leadership teams.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement capabilities.
Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.
Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment.
Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.
Job may require presence on‑site at the assigned work location.
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years of training, learning and development, or related experience.
Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, safety, quality, onboarding, or workforce development preferred.
Experience delivering classroom and hands‑on training, conducting evaluations, and managing certification or compliance programs preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification required or ability to obtain certification.
Safety certification, training certification, or related coursework preferred.
Train‑the‑Trainer certification preferred.
