Job summary

Contec Inc. is seeking an On-The-Job Trainer to support the warehouse by mentoring new associates, training staff on processes, safety, and equipment, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role reports to the Logistics Manager/Supervisors within a quality-focused environment.

The position emphasizes training delivery, performance tracking, and collaboration with Maintenance, R&D, Quality, and Process Engineering to implement new processes and upgrades in the workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years of experience and/or training in warehouse and/or manufacturing operations or equivalent.
• Experience working with large-scale ERP systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train new associates, implement process improvements, monitor efficiency and quality in warehouse tasks.
• Ensure new associates understand warehouse processes and safety rules.
• Provide training and retraining for all warehouse equipment.
• Track team and individual warehouse performance.
• Assist management in preparing daily/weekly/monthly training forecasts to ensure timely training.
• Identify additional training needs and organize Kaizen activities for process improvement.
