Job summary

Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. is seeking a DC Trainer to lead training initiatives across our distribution center operations. The role focuses on onboarding, coaching, and ensuring staff follow standard operating procedures in receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes.

The ideal candidate brings warehouse experience, strong leadership, and bilingual communication skills to foster team development and operational excellence in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer prior distribution/warehouse experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adjust to change and interruptions.
• 1 to 2 years directly related experience or 3 years of related experience.
• Strong leadership experience skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish/French/etc. is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conducts one on one training with new hires and provides guidance related to the process of receiving, order picking, packing, shipping and replenishment to be compliant with the SOP.
• Works with management, leads and QA to provide one on one coaching and continual training with current associates.
• Conducts observations on associates to ensure SOPs are followed and to determine training effectiveness.
• Acts as a mentor to new hires and current associates on the team.
• Ensures new policies and procedures are followed when implemented.
• Maintains a safe work environment and reports hazards to management.
