Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Houston is seeking a Warehouse Technician to support warehouse and equipment operations for field service activities. Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting goods, packing materials for shipment, and maintaining records.

You will also support vehicle upkeep, calibration of test equipment, and 5S organization to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. The role emphasizes on-site operations in Houston with opportunities to work with cross-functional teams in

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 2 years’ experience, or High School diploma and 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing/service warehouse environment.
• 2 years’ experience with an Associate degree, or 5 years’ experience with a High School diploma.
• Previous warehousing and/or shipping experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift effectively.
• Experience in SAP is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect goods and verify items against shipment records.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment based on specifications and transportation requirements.
• Record received and shipped items.
• Maintain oil processing trailers, including maintenance and repairs.
• Manage vehicle maintenance, registration, and insurance activities.
• Maintain calibration of test equipment and coordinate repairs for equipment and dry air machines.
• Support day-to-day operational activities and help ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintain company equipment in an organized 5S manner.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
