Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in the United States is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials to support production and customer demand.

You will lead warehouse staff, enforce safety, optimize layout, monitor inventory, and collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics to maintain smooth material flow while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in stores and logistics.
• Minimum 3–5 years in warehouse operations with at least 2 years in supervision.
• Strong knowledge of WMS and inventory control.
• Forklift certification and operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure, compliant environment.
• Optimize layout and processes to maximize efficiency and space utilization.
• Monitor inventory levels with regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics to ensure timely material flow.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Prepare and present reports on warehouse activity, including inventory, productivity, and safety metrics.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize disruption.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse performance and reduce costs.
