Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Warehouse Technician in Houston to support warehouse and equipment operations for field service activities. You will inspect goods, verify shipments, pack materials, maintain records, and support vehicle and test equipment maintenance.

You will help ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and maintain organized, 5S-grade equipment. The role requires working knowledge of warehouse practices, forklift operation, and SAP, with a background in

Qualifications

• Candidate must already have work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Associate degree and 2 years’ experience, or High School diploma and 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing/service warehouse environment.
• 2 years’ experience with an Associate degree, or 5 years’ experience with a High School diploma.
• Previous warehousing and/or shipping experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift effectively.
• SAP experience is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect goods and verify items against shipment records.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment based on specifications and transportation requirements.
• Record received and shipped items.
• Maintain oil processing trailers, including maintenance and repairs.
• Manage vehicle maintenance, registration, and insurance activities.
• Maintain calibration of test equipment and coordinate repairs for equipment and dry air machines.
• Support day-to-day operational activities and help ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintain company equipment in an organized 5S manner.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
