Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a warehouse associate in Illinois to support our distribution network. The role involves safely loading/unloading trucks, accurately picking paint and related products, and efficiently shipping orders to customers.

You will move material using hand trucks, forklifts, and other equipment within the facility and loading platform. Responsibilities include organizing stock, packing, processing orders, and maintaining inventory while adhering to safety and quality

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or distribution facility preferred.
• Experience operating mobile power equipment (lift trucks, tow motors, pallet handling equipment).
• Experience operating stationary power equipment (palletizers, conveyors, hoists, stackers).
• Experience order picking and data entry including scanning bar codes.
• Experience as picker/packer in warehouse or distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently pick orders
• Process, package, and ship orders accurately
• Organize stock and maintain inventory
• Inspect products for defects and damages
• Examine incoming and outgoing shipments
• Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory items
• Operate robots to facilitate warehouse operations
• Coordinate site damage/re-pour area
• Follow safety and quality expectations
• Suggest improvements to warehousing procedures
• Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
