Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Romeoville, IL is seeking a Warehouse Order Picker to support our distribution network. You will accurately pick, package, and ship paint and related products, and move materials using hand trucks and forklifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• 1 year experience in a manufacturing or distribution facility preferred.
• 1 year experience operating mobile power equipment (lift trucks, tow motors, pallet handling, order pickers, high lifts, forklifts, cherry pickers).
• 1 year experience operating stationary power equipment (palletizers, conveyors, hoists, stackers, mills, farm/construction).
• 1 year experience in order picking and entering orders with data entry and scanning bar codes.
• 1 year experience as a picker or packer in a warehouse or distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently pick orders.
• Process, package, and ship orders accurately.
• Organize stock and maintain inventory.
• Inspect products for defects and damages.
• Examine incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory items appropriately.
• Operate equipment to facilitate warehouse operations.
• Follow safety and quality expectations.
