Payrate: $18/hr. (weekly pay)

Schedule: M-F 7:30am - 4:00pm

Location: Onsite in East Syracuse, NY

Job Description:

As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for coordinating on-site activities, handling receipt, stocking, and shipping of products; staging and delivering customer orders; and managing transactions with the business and local vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Operate material handling equipment to load and unload trucks, locate and pick materials, and log inbound freight (UPS, FedEx, Airborne, DHL).
2. Ensure safe operation of equipment, inspect for safety, and report accidents or unsafe conditions.
3. Stock and organize products to optimize warehouse inventory turnover.
4. Conduct cycle counts to determine accurate material quantities.
5. Receive materials, move them between locations, and ensure accurate data entry for receipts, inventories, and locations; resolve discrepancies.
6. Locate parts, ensuring pallets are stable, undamaged, and properly stored; avoid leaving materials in aisles.
7. Practice safe handling techniques and perform housekeeping tasks.
8. Work overtime/weekends as required.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of warehouse experience
• At least 5 years of forklift operation experience
• Experience with shipping/receiving
• Experience with scan guns
• Basic computer skills
