Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a Technical Trainer to educate technicians and other workgroups, delivering both classroom and on-the-job training to ensure employees are skilled to meet customer expectations. The role emphasizes mentoring and SME-level guidance within Raymond West’s product lines.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of Raymond Course Manager Training or equivalent program, with travel up to 50% per month and a strong focus on safety and excellence in service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 4+ years of forklift, automated warehouse solutions, vertical lift module, conveyor, energy solutions, and/or dock & door experience.
• Mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic and/or electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Hand and power tool experience.
• Training experience or certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate technician training in classroom and on-the-job settings.
• Manage course schedule, classroom needs, and student engagement to achieve learning objectives.
• Assess and test the competence of employees in performing tasks.
• Maintain training certifications and up-to-date subject matter expertise on Raymond West products.
• Coordinate training delivery needs (classrooms, materials, scheduling).
• Complete administrative items (travel, expense reports, roster management, evaluations).
• Participate in course material revisions and new training development.
