Job summary

Raymond West in California is seeking a Technical Trainer to educate technicians and other workgroups, delivering classroom and on-the-job training to ensure employees are skilled and aligned with customer expectations.

The role requires facilitating training, maintaining certifications, coordinating sessions, and embodying Raymond West values. Travel up to 50% may be required; a pre-employment physical may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of forklift, automated warehouse solutions, vertical lift module, conveyor, energy solutions, and/or dock & door experience.
• Mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic and/or electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Hand and power tool experience.
• Training experience or certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate technician training in classroom and on-the-job settings.
• Manage course schedule, classroom needs, and student engagement.
• Assess and test employee competence in critical tasks.
• Maintain training certifications and up-to-date SME knowledge.
• Coordinate training delivery needs and travel arrangements.
• Complete administrative items and record training completions.
• Participate in course material revisions and new training development.
• Research, design, and implement training programs.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning across business units.
• Model Raymond West professional values and behavior.
