Job summary

Interstate Batteries operates a distribution center where team members accurately process receiving, transfers, picking, packing and shipping using RF scanners and warehouse equipment. The role requires handling pallets, tagging for transfer and maintaining clean, organized areas.

We seek a high school graduate with 6 months to 1 year in warehouse operations, able to learn WMS systems, and demonstrate attention to detail, urgency, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with basic math skills.
• At least ½ year of warehouse experience with RF/HH equipment and lift devices.
• Ability to learn applicable computer systems.
• Strong accuracy, urgency, and organization.
• Cooperative, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Process receiving, transfer, pick, pack, and ship transactions.
• Handle products per warehouse standards (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship).
• Tag pallets for transfer, pick, and ship.
• General warehouse duties and housekeeping of assigned areas.
• Multi-task and transition between functions quickly.
• Other duties as assigned by warehouse distributor management.
