Job summary

HERD North America in Rogers, Minnesota is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse team and ensure receiving, storage, packaging, and shipping are accurate and on time.

This role emphasizes organization, accuracy, and safety, with on-the-job training and leadership development to help you grow.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with Production, Supply Chain, and Transportation to keep material flow smooth and waste to a minimum.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with inventory management or ERP software is an asset.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach, train, and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, packaging, picking, and shipping products.
• Coordinate warehouse activities to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
• Coach, train, and support warehouse employees to help them perform their roles effectively.
• Participate in recruiting and onboarding new team members.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure physical inventory aligns with system records.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment when required.
• Ensure shipping and receiving processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Manage product returns and ensure materials are handled and documented properly.
• Work closely with Production, Supply Chain, and Transportation to maintain smooth material flow and prevent delays.
• Organize warehouse space to improve efficiency, accessibility, and workflow.
• Monitor warehouse performance and identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce waste.
• Support LEAN initiatives and continuous improvement within warehouse operations.
• Ensure employees follow company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Address operational issues, identify solutions, and elevate concerns to the Transportation Manager when required.
