Job summary

Ministry of Justice is seeking an experienced Team Leader to support the Warehouse Manager in delivering efficient warehousing and distribution services. You will oversee day-to-day movements, loading/unloading, and ensure stock is processed, recorded, and stored accurately within timescales, while guiding managers and staff to maintain high quality service.

Candidates bring hands-on warehouse leadership, problem-solving, and a focus on safety, with training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams (6–15+ staff) and line management.
• Proven ability to coach and give performance feedback.
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
• Health and safety awareness and compliance.
• Ability to coordinate teams and liaise with departments/clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day movement of goods, loading and unloading.
• Manage goods in/out; ensure records/trackers are updated.
• Investigate customer complaints/receipts/returns for the warehouse manager.
• Maintain SOPs and risk assessments for the warehouse.
• Support stock checks and inventory checking.
• Provide data analysis and reports to management; monitor performance.
• Act as first point of contact for external stakeholders.
