Job summary

Colonial Group in New York is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to direct and coach a group of associates responsible for receiving, replenishment, and outbound loading. You will drive safety, accuracy, and efficiency while supporting daily operations across shifts.

You will coach staff on SOPs, use voice and computer systems, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with operations management to reduce damages and improve inventory control.

Qualifications

• Experience leading warehouse teams to meet KPI targets.
• Strong coaching and training abilities on SOPs and safety.
• Ability to analyze data and communicate results to staff.
• Excellent time management and prioritization.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in picking and replenishment.

Responsibilities

• Lead team to achieve performance goals by example.
• Identify and remove obstacles for teams.
• Ensure policy adherence and communicate expectations.
• Develop associates through coaching and training on procedures.
• Identify safety hazards and escalate to safety manager.
• Provide cost control recommendations and process improvements.
• Lead initiatives to reduce damages and report inventory inaccuracy.
• Coach team on voice and computer systems to reduce mis-picks.
• Safeguard operations with security procedures.
• Maintain warehouse condition and coordinate repairs.
• Support scheduling and workload distribution.
• Ensure OSHA standards compliance.
• Take on additional responsibilities to meet KPIs.
