Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a warehouse supervisor to oversee a team of order pickers on multiple shifts. You will ensure accurate fulfillment, maintain safety, and drive productivity while coordinating with warehouse management and other departments.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in warehouse operations, leadership experience, and strong knowledge of RF scanners, WMS, and reporting tools. Flexibility for evenings/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree a plus.
• 2+ years in warehouse operations with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of order picking, inventory systems, and safety standards.
• Experience with RF scanners, WMS, and basic reporting tools.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate order pickers on assigned shifts.
• Monitor performance for accuracy, productivity, and safety.
• Train and mentor staff on picking techniques and equipment.
• Lead shift briefings and communicate goals and updates.
• Assist with shift scheduling and task assignments.
• Perform quality checks on picked and packed orders.
• Resolve issues to prevent delays or errors.
• Collaborate with warehouse management, inventory control, and shipping.
• Monitor equipment use and coordinate repairs.
• Enforce safety guidelines and report incidents.
• Contribute to process improvements to reduce errors.
• Maintain records of performance, attendance, and incidents.
