Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Wisconsin is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and guide warehouse associates. The Lead trains teammates to complete daily tasks and may perform duties in shipping/receiving, packaging, inventory control, or forklift operations.

The role provides backup to the supervisor, conducts safety inspections, and ensures compliance with SQFI, FDA, and customer requirements. You will review daily production reports and support other warehouse functions as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months leadership or supervisory experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers and conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Conduct observations and ensure safe operations and performance.
• Safely operate equipment and move products for distribution; load, unload, and store materials.
• Complete paperwork per procedures and regulatory agencies (DOT, IATA, IMDG).
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts and report variances to leadership.
• Perform daily safety inspections on forklift trucks and keep the facility inspection ready for audits.
• Communicate incidents to supervisor and ensure proper product rotation.
• Review and analyze daily production reports and provide backup to other warehouse roles.
