Job description

We are a furniture distribution company seeking a skilled Warehouse Team Lead to join our team. The role involves overseeing storing materials, picking, packing, scanning orders, and leading the team to improve efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Assign, direct, monitor, and ensure proper completion of tasks for warehouse associates.
2. Report directly to Warehouse Supervisor and Manager.
3. Investigate inventory issues that arise during shifts.
4. Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are complete and undamaged.
5. Train and develop team members according to company policies and in coordination with Warehouse Management.
6. Verify employee time records and attendance.
7. Oversee daily shift operations including shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading.
8. Coordinate with inbound container carriers.
9. Maintain compliance with safety regulations.
10. Report operational issues to Warehouse Manager and suggest corrective actions.
11. Supervise 4 to 6 non-supervisory employees.

Schedule:

Sunday - Thursday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Skills & Requirements:

• At least 2 years of proven Warehouse Lead experience.
• Ability to operate cherry picker, reach, and turret forklifts.
• Proficiency in inventory software and systems.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety standards.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
