Job summary

APL Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to oversee unloading and loading operations, coordinate staging, and support warehouse personnel with training and safety practices.

The role focuses on assigning work, improving efficiency, and ensuring accurate handling of customer products, with escalation to supervisors as needed. Experience with forklift and material handling is required, along with equipment certification.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years warehouse or related work experience required.
• 2 years forklift/material handling skills required and Equipment Certification required.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions, interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to write legibly and perform basic math, data entry and computer skills.
• Ability to lead others to complete work requirements.

Responsibilities

• Unloading Inbounds, loading Outbounds and staging per procedures.
• Ensure inventory control and storage accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
• Provide support to Shipping and Receiving Clerk and team members.
• Perform material handler tasks as directed by a senior team lead or supervisor.
