Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor to lead and develop Package Handlers, ensuring safety, productivity and attendance. The role sets high standards for accuracy, customer service and teamwork across the station.

The incumbent will manage resources, promote a positive work environment, implement development plans, and provide thorough training and orientation to staff to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Package Handlers and train staff in safety, production and attendance.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Manage department resources for maximum output, accuracy and efficiency.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment and proactive communication.
• Provide orientation, training materials, and regular evaluations for personnel.
