Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor to lead Package Handlers, train teams, and uphold safety, production, and attendance standards. The role focuses on delivering high output, accuracy, and customer service while fostering a collaborative work environment.

The position emphasizes leadership across levels, with responsibilities for coaching, orientation, and ongoing development of department personnel. A permanent, on-site role with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 70 lbs / 32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
• Management experience - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, in compliance with department, station, corporate and OSHA requirements.
• Manage department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establish and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing involvement, proactive communication, cooperation, and continual improvement.
• Implements employee personal development plans to ensure continuing professional growth.
• Ensure all department employees receive orientation, skills and safety training, materials, evaluations, and proactive coaching.
• Ensure all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
