Job summary

Royal Fresh Cuts is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to supervise daily warehouse operations, drive safety and quality, and mentor a team of associates.

You will oversee receiving and shipping, inventory accuracy, and coordination with Production, Purchasing, and Transportation to ensure on-time orders. The role requires leadership, clear communication, and adherence to HACCP/GMP protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Extensive experience in warehouse operations and inventory systems.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.
• Advanced equipment certifications and strong understanding of WMS/BC software.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience operating forklifts in a food manufacturing or distribution environment is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, teamwork and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of GMP/HACCP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and safety compliance.
• Lead and train associates in operations and safety practices.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing and Transportation for on-time order fulfillment.
• Manage receiving, shipping, inventory posting, adjustments, and product flow tracking.
• Conduct team huddles and sustain safety initiatives.
• Assist with staffing and scheduling; back up for lower-level roles.
• Maintain proper handling and storage of food products to ensure quality and prevent contamination.
• Communicate updates via Teams, Redzone, or Email with supervisors and teams.
