Fresh Express is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee the logistics department, ensuring efficient movement, storage, and distribution of fresh cut products for consumers. You will supervise staff, enforce GMPs, and drive improvements in shipping, receiving and inventory processes.

The role emphasizes maintaining safety, regulatory compliance (OSHA/EPA/FDA), and strong communication with management. On-site position with responsibilities across daily operations and staff development.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of related experience.
• Prior leadership experience in a comparable environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervision of the logistics department to ensure goals are met.
• Oversee daily movement, storage and distribution of fresh cut products.
• Train and develop hourly staff on GMPs, shipping, receiving, inventory, and documentation.
• Ensure breaks and shifts end on time.
• Support programs to achieve cost and quality targets.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, FDA and other regulations.
• Maintain a safe work environment through training and safety measures.
• Assist with interviewing warehouse associates for positions requiring power equipment.
• Maintain effective communication with management and company personnel.
• Escalate significant employee issues to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
