Job summary

Yusen Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate material handlers and oversee daily operations in our Louisville facility. Under the direction of supervision or management, you will manage lifting, transporting, storing and loading activities using conveyors, forklifts or by hand, while ensuring safety and productivity.

The role requires coordinating teams, enforcing labor estimates, and supporting kaizen efforts to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; two years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Material Handlers to ensure efficient use of time to meet production, quality, sanitation and customer service standards.
• Coordinate with management to ensure safe product flow and adherence to safety precautions.
• Enforce labor hour estimates for daily tasks and assignments.
• Report compliance with operational standards and initiatives.
• Suggest kaizen improvements to enhance overall operation.
• Oversee the work of a small team in the designated warehouse area.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and safety rules.
